Jason

These photos are a result of some work I have done in Ottawa. The one with the bustle is from a photoshoot Jay and I did in Ottawa recently. I asked Jason if he'd be wiling to be part of an exhibition I'm working on for next year. He happily obliged and of course I was thrilled, especially after seeing this photo.

Next summer I'll be having a photo exhibit at the Chateau Logue Resort's Centre d'interpretation located in Maniwaki, Quebec. The aim of this new show will be to show the beauty of First Nations people, and that traditions and customs of my people are alive and thriving.

Pow Wow 2010

These photos were taken in Kitigan Zibi, Quebec. These men were so powerful in their dancing. It was truly a sight to watch them!

France!

Recently, I had the terrific opportunity to take some photos while in France. My son was invited to join a hockey team to play a tournament in France. Of course we jumped at the chance. The tournament was very well oganized. Almost too organized, it left little time to wander and take more photos! Here are just a couple of some of the photos I did take. I will post more as I get to them.

Costa Rica!

In 2008, my family went to Costa Rica for March break. It's one of those places you visit, as a photographer, and you want to go back (or stay longer) for all the natural beauty. There was so many photo ops! I have to go back. One day.

Pretty Girl

This is my daughter. Since I started taking photos, oh, let's just say a couple of years ago, she's been one of my main models. As you can tell, I think she's got the modelling pose nailed. She's a beauty! I'm a little/lot biased, but of course I'm allowed. I'm her proud mama!

Calendar Girl

I got a call from a young lady who wanted to do some fundraising for summer activities up North. What she wanted to do was make and sell calendars. The idea she came up with is to have photos of ladies showing a little bit of skin. This one didn't make the cut, but is my favorite of the photoshoot.
