A couple of months back, I asked my good friend, Sunshine if she wouldn't mind being one of my models for any exhibition that I'm having (had). She gladly agreed. I wasn't exactly sure, where I wanted to photograph her. The ever patient person that she is, we rode around Ottawa until I found the backdrops in these photos.

As for the exhibition, I'm looking (procrastinating really) on a venue where I could display a series of photographs I've worked on for a couple of years now.

Super Moon

Last night, March 19 was night of the super moon. I dragged my husband with me and we went moon watching. He thought it was kinda funny because all of a sudden about 1/2 a dozen photographers emerged from the shadows of Gatineau to photograph the Parliament buildings. Okay, so the first photo isn't of the moon. It's the National Art Gallery of Canada, but thought I should include it anyway. I took it while waiting for the moon to make it's appearance.

Fresh Ones!

I've always wanted to do newborn photos. One of my friends just had a baby, so I invited her over to have her baby photographed. I definitely want to do more of this. Working with newborns! So awesome!

Jason

These photos are a result of some work I have done in Ottawa. The one with the bustle is from a photoshoot Jay and I did in Ottawa recently. I asked Jason if he'd be wiling to be part of an exhibition I'm working on for next year. He happily obliged and of course I was thrilled, especially after seeing this photo.

Next summer I'll be having a photo exhibit at the Chateau Logue Resort's Centre d'interpretation located in Maniwaki, Quebec. The aim of this new show will be to show the beauty of First Nations people, and that traditions and customs of my people are alive and thriving.

These photos were taken in Kitigan Zibi, Quebec. These men were so powerful in their dancing. It was truly a sight to watch them!

France!

Recently, I had the terrific opportunity to take some photos while in France. My son was invited to join a hockey team to play a tournament in France. Of course we jumped at the chance. The tournament was very well oganized. Almost too organized, it left little time to wander and take more photos! Here are just a couple of some of the photos I did take. I will post more as I get to them.
